Wolf to distribute New DECKORATORS CXT Railing

(6/13/11  York, Pa.) — WOLF, the largest supplier of kitchen cabinets in the U.S. and a leading provider of building products along the East Coast, today announced an exclusive agreement to distribute Deckorators® CXT Railing, a new line recently introduced by Universal Forest Products.

WOLF will immediately begin accepting orders for the CXT deck railing system, as well as the wide array of Deckorators post caps and balusters, in its service area of 18 East Coast states.

Deckorators® CXT Railing is co-extruded from two layers of materials. The core is made with Strandex®, a thoroughly tested composite technology that uses strands of polyethylene-encased wood fiber. The outer cap stock layer gives CXT Railing the look of painted wood while offering superior scratch- and weather-resistance. CXT Railing, an ultra-low-maintenance product with long-term durability, is backed by a 20-year limited warranty.

CXT Railing’s unique “U-Bracket” design allows for easy installation and provides a fastener-free look. Available in two distinct profiles, Contemporary and Colonial, the CXT railing is available in 6- and 8-foot lengths and in 36- and 42-inch installed heights. Pre-drilled rails increase the speed of installation by taking the guesswork out of baluster spacing.

Deckorators CXT railing can be used with Deckorators’ existing baluster and post accessories, as well as four attractive post cap styles, including Tiffany-style Mission Glass, Copper, Solar and Traditional.

WOLF’s agreement to distribute Deckorators CXT Railing follows several aggressive moves by WOLF over the past two years. In late 2010, WOLF modified its core business model, shifting from a traditional two-step distributor to a sourcing company focused solely on the needs of independent dealers.
