Design for the Greater Good
Which WOLF employee recently volunteered for “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” in Etters, PA?
Christy Spath, one of our Kitchen & Bath Customer Service team members, donated her time and skills to participate in the renovation of the Keefer family home. Brian Keefer suffered a gymnastics injury three years ago while attending Lock Haven University in Clinton County, PA. He is one of four boys parented by Steve and Dawn Keefer, who were determined to stay in their home and make the needed changes for wheelchair accessibility. Keep your eyes open for Christy in the season premiere edition, as she was actually filmed assisting in the weight room designed for Brian.
Many local companies volunteered their time and expertise to the Keefer family, including Musser Home Builders Inc and Deer Creek Electric. The following video was created by Deer Creek Electric and illustrates the good nature, spirit and enthusiasm that resounded throughout the project.
Designers possess the creative abilities to improve spaces, and enrich everyday life, by making them more functional and user friendly. Have you, or your company, volunteered your time and skills for an improvement project within your community? If so, we would love to hear more about it.

What a terrific reminder that the skills we have go far beyond our daily work life! I’m so proud that Christy and so many of our other WOLF team members donate their time and talents to wonderful causes such as this one.
