Are you operating your business like a fax machine?

You’ve probably never had a reason to think about how a fax machine really works, so here it is. A fax machine takes a document, converts it to digital, and then sends it over phone lines using analog sound. On the other end, it is converted back to digital and then to paper again. Hmmm… Doesn’t there seem to be a better way? Yes, there are easier, quicker and more reliable ways to send data, but the fax machine is still alive and well in 2013.  Are you operating your business like a fax machine?
